In the year 2060, the "Human Alerted Extinction" crisis threatens the survival of the human race. To combat this, the World Human Organization assigns the Civilization Development Office, led by Diana Edwardson, to develop a plan to save humanity.

Diana's team discovers a species similar to humans, known as Jademen, living in the rainforest of Aveloe. Diana decides to alter the Jademen's DNA to transform them into humans, but her plan is met with resistance.
