A SPACE BETWEEN U AND ME

"Do you like it?" Tanong niya sa akin habang tintingnan namin ang ulap at ang mga bundok.

I was standing and he was back hugging me, His chin was in my shoulder. This is all I ever wanted. A relaxing place with the love of my life.

"I don't like it... I love it... But I love you more." I said turning around to face him.

"Whenever you feel down, always remember, remember that I'm always by your side. Kung kailangan mo nang ilaw, think about my smiles na gustong-gusto mo, Kung kailangan mo nang masasandalan, My shoulders our all yours to lean on, At kung nahihirapan kana, I'm here ready to be your resting place. He says still hugging my waist.

I then wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him in the nose.

"Ba't para kanamang mamatay.." I giggled.

Nilagay niya ang kanang kamay ko sa chest niya at sinabing, "Tandaan mo, this place is only for you, and will ever be for you."

I leaned forward to kiss him... We kissed softly and lovingly.... It was not aggressive but gentle.

"I love you" He said.

"I love you more..." I replied and gave him a smile.

Umupo kami sa picnic blanket and I leaned on his shoulders watching the sunset.....

And I fell asleep...
