[New chapter posted every Friday] Would you like to learn how to draw your readers in with your blurb and your opening lines so that they feel they have to keep reading to find out what happens next? Would you like to learn how to craft characters who are so interesting and real that your readers would love to be them and can't help but go through the story with them? Would you like to learn how to craft sentences, paragraphs, and chapters that keep your readers enthralled? Would you like to learn how to prevent writer's block? The Art of Writing will teach you all of these skills and more--everything you need to write a bestseller. You've probably noticed that your first and second chapters have lots of reads, but the chapters after that have very few reads or votes. You can partially blame that on people clicking on the first chapter just to take a quick glance at it and maybe add it to their reading list. But that explanation only goes so far for most Wattpadders. The real reason is more likely that your story isn't written in such a way that really draws a readers in, almost forcing them to keep reading. But you can give your story that edge it needs to become great just by following a few easy guidelines and learning some key techniques for success. In fact, if you haven't already noticed, some of those techniques are being used in this description to give you just enough information about something you want in order to get you hooked. And your stories should do the same. Wattpad is full of writers who have great story ideas but very little training in the skills required to craft an amazing story that really sucks a person in. Which means we end up with endless stories that promise amazing plots but can't deliver on that promise. Not to worry, though. We're about to change all of that. So get ready to learn the skills you need to write a binge-worthy bestseller. ***NOTE: If there's a skill you'd like me to write a chapter about, just let me know***

"Her troubled eyes held fire. The kind of fire that was capable of burning me to ash." ***** I grabbed her chin with my free hand, making her look at me. "I hate that I don't know you. I hate not being a part of your life, like I was before." I leaned a little closer, as her intoxicating scent filled my lungs. "Trust me, I can't hate you, no matter how hard I tried." "So you have... " It came out as more of a question than a statement from her as she looked at me with her big blue eyes. "What?" I frowned, dropping my hand from her chin and grabbing her hand, instead. "You have tried hating me then?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. This time it sounded more like a statement than a question. "I have." I sighed, dropping my head in shame. "And it made me lose the most important person in my life." ***** One night. What harm can one night do? It can change lives. Turn best friends into enemies. Turn someone's life upside down. Emily Waters and Ryder Green, were inseparable, joint to the hip, always had each others back and loved each other behind the best friend facade. But one night changed it all. He thinks he has changed for worse but what he doesn't know is that Emily has changed for the worst. Three years later, what if the girl is back, with baggage that she doesn't think anyone could handle? What will happen when they meet? Will the sparks ignite again? Read to find out. *** Best rankings: #5 - romance (16/08/2022) #1 - funny (24/11/2022) #1 - streetfighter (03/09/2021) #3 - humour (24/11/2022) #5 - teenfiction (24/11/2022) #1 - comeback (15/04/2022) #4 - gangs (04/12/2021) #8 - badass (02/07/2021) #2 - bestfriends (16/08/2022) #9 - friendstolovers (06/07/2021) #2 - rebellion (03/09/2021) #4 - bully (21/08/2021) #2 - past (25/10/2021) #2 - Enemiestolivers (01/10/2021)

"Please, Beau? I don't want to talk about this so, please, just shut up." Beau tilts his head, surprised at first, before a wicked gleam appears in his eyes. "Make me." ** "...one of the best romantic novel developments I've read..." ~ @renegxde ; The Mono Reviews Emma is a quiet girl in a small town, filling her days with shifts at the local coffee shop so that she can one day fulfill her dream and put herself through college. Her life isn't glamorous, but hard work rarely is. Her mind is on the prize and nothing will stop her from achieving her dreams. That is, until lonely and misunderstood bad boy of the most popular band comes to town and stirs up enough crazy to last Emma a lifetime. Their deal is simple, Emma helps Beau with his image for generous pay, setting her on the fast track to accomplishing her dreams. But the most important rule isn't exactly included in the fine print: Under no circumstances is anyone to catch feelings. Shouldn't be hard, right? As Emma gets closer and closer to mysterious Beau, she finds it harder and harder to stay true to their deal. Who knew the bad boy would be so hard to resist? As she struggles not to break their number one rule, she faces another problem - he's even harder to love.
