In 1819, vampires called "Blutsaugers" came into existence in pre-unified Germany under unknown circumstances. They spread across neighboring countries and caused attempted mass murder of humans until they made peace at the end of the 19th century.
Siegfried von Wagenheim (🇩🇪) and his great-grandfather Werner (Brandenburg) are the last survivors of an infamous family of Blutsaugers. He works as a trauma surgeon by day, but at night, he seeks to put an end to his father's legacy by hunting down Neo-Nazis.
Upon hearing the news of a Blutsauger attack on Berlin Hauptbahnhof, he is shocked to see his ex-girlfriend Beatrice (🇮🇹), a policewoman and former CLN partisan, as one of his patients. Siegfried enters her dream and attempts to strike a deal with her to become his partner in combat and find the perpetrator.
But the problem is he found himself falling in love with her again but he has to do something to prevent fracturing of their countries' relations.
