Specter: This is a story I've been working on for awhile. I've seen many people talk about how bad their writing is. This just makes me cringe because they say this when they're just on their first draft. I decided to post the first draft of my story called Specter. This is purely just to give writers and idea what a first draft looks like. A confidence booster. Something to compare your writing to. The best writer never wrote a master piece on the first go. Just North of Anchorage
My first ever Large Project. Written back in 2017 during boring class periods, it doesn't have quite the shine I hold myself to nowadays. It's also not the style I wright in anymore. It was really more of a self-insert friend fiction and looking back on it I still cringe of what I thought 16 years old I thought was good. But that's part of art right. Yahtzee Crowshaw once said, "99% of artists hate the work they made in the past and the other 1% are dirty liars." I hate it and cringe but I still have a fond memory of finishing this and letting out a good sigh of satisfaction. Keep in mind that this story will be riddled with grammar and spelling errors. This is for 2 reasons 1. I want to keep this as a time capsule to look at in a few decades and cringe 2. I've already reached my cringe quote for the year.Complete
