It is true! I am lying! Izuku may not look like it but he was doing his best to act cheeful just to hide how broken down he is deep down inside. He didn't wanted all this but it just happened. It was not his fault. Honestly, he couldn't do aynthing about it, he was just born with this insanly burdensome quirk which was getting him into trouble... but for how long....
