22-year-old Sophia Ross is a young journalist who is desperately searching for her big break-through story. After nearly a year of writing mundane news articles and covering anticlimactic situations, she is ready for something bigger that will propel her career to the next level. 

That's when she receives an email from her manager offering her exactly what she's been looking for: a chance to write an article about the world famous boyband, One Direction. Despite knowing next to nothing about the band, Sophia accepts immediately, thrilled at this new opportunity.

After celebrating her sudden stroke of good luck, she decides to search up the band and learn a little more about them.
