Jin is Tenzin's oldest son an accident from his relationship With Lin beifong. The unplanned nature of him didn't help the decline in the relationship between his parents. He takes after his mothers strong will and sense of justice but has inherited his father's air bending. With tenzin moving on and starting a new family things were a Tense between the two but his love for his siblings Helps him move past it, and with the new avatar in town the young man's thirst for adventure may finally be quenched.
