"This is my anti-modern take on how Superman is written today...
This is my counter-argument to the contemporary interpretation of Superman...
Lately, there has been a growing trend among writers to either humanize or deify Superman, presenting him as a religious Messiah-like figure. They humanize him in an attempt to make him more relatable to the audience, which is unnecessary. On the other hand, they deify him by transforming him from an extraterrestrial being hailing from Krypton into a religious icon, often paralleling the figure of Jesus Christ in Christianity.
Here is my perspective on this particular depiction of "Superman."

But this story isn't really about him, it's about the shy and quirky girl who seems impervious to death or permanent injury who unfortunately gains his attention.
