He rolled himself a fatty and laid back on his pull out sofa to relax and think. 
Rent was due quite soon, he had the money but only barely, but then again, if he didn’t buy a winter coat he’d definitely have enough. He blew out a smoke circle. Money had always been tight, he thought. But should he then go to work tonight? No, he was in too good a mood after a night with Mr Roberts and the payment that followed; that could wait for tomorrow.
BJ’s entire life had basically been one shitty experience after the other, and now, in his early twenties, he is sentenced to community service where he meets 3 other young trouble makers, will they push him over the edge? Or maybe they can help him get revenge on the dark shadows from his past that continuously haunts his presence? And what part does this ‘Mr Roberts’ play?

Octaveus was depressed. He knew it, but no one else did. He hid it, just as he hid his scars. He wasn't human either; he hid that too. He hid almost everything about himself from everyone, in order to minimize the ridicule. His mental state, his thoughts, his scars, even his questionable sexuality. But that only fed into his sadness. Drew was insecure. He didn't like standing up for himself in fear of saying something wrong. He didn't even change in the main locker room for PE, he went in the stalls. He was anxious. He wanted to know what was happening and when so that he can prepare for all possible outcomes of that event. And he was gay; his family knew and supported him, but no one else knew. He was too scared of how they would react to tell them. Jessie knew his brother would be teased. It was really a fact. Humanity wasn't too good at accepting of different beings. No matter how human Octaveus made himself look, he couldn't hide his unnaturally pale skin that no matter how hard he tried would not tan or his yellow cat eyes. He just had to try to fit in, same as the rest of their family. Seth was the school bad boy, and secret werewolf. His hobbies included pushing around the Freshman, flirting relentlessly with any and every attractive popular girl in sight, and trying not to think about Octaveus. He didn't want other people to find out about his thoughts on the emo new kid. So, naturally, he made Octaveus's school day a living hell.
