Liz Dawson is just a slightly sassy but normal teenager who enjoys hunting and fishing. Oh, and on the side knows the truth of heaven and hell. Firstly, I do have to admit I prefer to substitute my prey from off deer and unto the unrighteous things but fishing is just pure fishing.

At 16 years old these pale pink covered lips have already told thousands of lies and I'd be telling more if the truth hadn't of set me free. Ironically, the truth is more hard to swallow than the lies were. The lies were coated in sugary sweets.

What if I told you, we've been desensitized.
Desensitized by the very fairytales I once read. The deceptive tales of werewolves, lycans, gods & goddesses, demigods, vampires, witches & wizards. We're made to believe it's fake, just fun-filled fantasy. They've taken a small part of truth and drowned it in a swamp of lies. 
We've romanticized these "stories" far too long. 

The so called far away kingdom isn't so far away. They're just hoping you never catch onto the truth. Since I've found it I can never go back, I'm set free. The truth is what I've been made to fight and search for. Clear the path for others.All Rights Reserved

I'd like to say by the end of this book I'll have conquered the monster and won over the girl, but as you read you'll learn that's far to much faith in a screwup like me. This book won't be for everyone, hell people die in it. But the good news is that if I die at least I'll be around, floating off of the pages to haunt you in your home. I find it damn near funny that most of you are reading this and know exactly what I mean. They put you on the path they've paved for you as kids we don't question it or even wonder if it's right for you. But beyond your paths edges is a land made up of risks and dangers. You feared it they tell you no good will come from it but how do you really know? Truth be told I was the girl who had her whole life planned out for her, straight A's, best friend, and two loving parents. I know what I wanted what I needed and I knew how to fight like hell for it. There's a reason why everyone prefers pretty lies over the bitter truth and it's usually because they can't handle the truth but I think the most likely thing is they can't handle what happens to the person once the truth comes out that's what happened to me. I was happy the way things were and then one day everything blew up in my face. Maybe the happy girl I was would have been happy living a lie for the rest of her life but no matter what the truth always comes out. So I ask you what would you have wanted the bitter truth or the pretty lie?
