The Amazons have failed in protecting their mother box as Steppenwolf attacked Themyscira. The Amazons did what they could during that time. Among the protectors of the Amazon Mother Box was Epione, a skilled warrior and friend of Diana, the Wonder Woman. She was supposed to die among her sisters against Steppenwolf, and yet, she is the only one who survived. How? By the miracle of breathing underwater. How is that though? Aren't Atlanteans the only ones who could breathe underwater? Join her as she strives for a quest into the deepest blue seas and their Atlantean Kingdoms and upon the shores of beautiful Themyscira as she unravels to find out who she is and who she is meant to be.
This is a small spin-off based on the Snyder verse and bit of the DC comics. I do not own the characters of some within the novel but the whole story-telling and style of writing is fully mine.

Someone yelled, and we all stopped, turning to the voice which belonged to the girl I saw earlier, with the exception of Batman who took the opportunity to launch the nearest man to him across the bridge into the railing, where he slumped to the ground. The Joker was first surprised and then amused. "A new toy!" He squealed with delight. He walked closer towards her, having forgotten me giving me the opportunity to peel my right arm out, giving me a better angle to see and defend myself. While the Joker wasn't terrifying to look at, honestly, he was fairly unassuming, with the exception of the weapon and the deranged smile and look in his eye, but I had seen many people with a similar expression, he had a very off-putting aura around him. She seemed entirely unbothered as he lurked towards her. Then she did one of the stupidest things I have ever seen in my life. She climbed up the railing and jumped off, to the roaring, dark, cold water that was at least 20 feet below us. When the Young Justice team is introduced to a new member they are all somewhat uncertain of her, along with the Justice League. With powers unlike they've ever seen before and hailing from a different planet they are not sure what to think of her. She seems to be hiding something and Batman seems to know something about it. Felicity O'Connor is not your typical seventeen year old teenager in the small city of Lakewood she's half mermaid, but doesn't know it yet. So having a crush on the king's right hand man, Jeremy Sea and being friends with the prince of Atlantis is probably not the best way to go about being unnoticed. So why can't Felicity grasp the enormity of her situation. Maybe meeting the prince, going on a dragon ride, becoming a dolphin rider, fighting sharks and swordfish, killing the Kraken and owning the most powerful sword in the sea has her a little distracted. Not a week after her birth the princess was kidnapped from her room with none the wiser. It wasn't until the queen herself came to check on her child that she noticed the empty crib. By that time it was too late, the princess was gone and the gods were silent. ------------------------------ Alright guys this is my new story that takes place in the young justice universe about the sister of Wonder Woman. Just a heads up her name is gonna be Donna Troy because the show didn't do anything with her other than put her in a few political hearings. Which was really disappointing but whatever lol. Now obviously this takes a lot of inspiration from the absolute Wonder Woman comic, but some things will be different since I'll be filling in some of the blanks with my own Wonder Woman knowledge so don't expect a 100% accuracy on some things. Also don't expect this story to get updates anywhere near as much as my reaction fic. This is just something I've been wanting to write for a while and unless something changes my main fic will still be my Absolute Reaction⚡️. Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. So many years later when Princess Muriel becomes curious about humans, she keeps it to herself. Muriel lives in a castle with her father, sisters, and best friend, Percy. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. For humans, mermaids are bad luck so she knows that they won't attempt to harm her. The first time Prince Philip steps foot on a fishing boat he witnesses the crew catch a mermaid. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen.
