Not all feelings are pleasant. If you are feeling deeply sad or hurt, it's ok. Sit with yourself and create the space to listen to your feelings, with love. You need to validate what you are feeling in the moment without trying to fix yourself. You don't need other people to validate your emotions.
The same thing applies when dealing with another person. Nobody can feel better right away. We all need to feel the truth of our emotions first, before we can heal. Society, through all the advertisements in a success driven culture easily programs us with quick fix solutions. So, we are taught to repress what we feel.
I have spent my entire life repressing emotions because people around me didn't understand how emotions work. Sadly, for most humans, who live in a materialistic World, emotions are not that important. In reality, however, humans are extremely emotional. Actually, everything we do in life is to 'feel' good and happy. So, you need to respect your own emotions and those of your friends and family.
You can never experience the richness of life if all you do is spend your entire life using logic to solve all your problems. You need to feel life deeply, not just think about it.
