Sam & Max were the best partners who fought crime and were irrespirable, nobody could get them away from each other, even after the incident. When Max had traveled to that world in the elevator, they never left sides, and they both seemed to be much more protective of one another. But who could blame them?
However, this has come as a difficult task as they have to deal with negative responses to the incident and figure out what the future holds for them. Despite this serious situation, it didn't compare to the fear that the duo both held deep within them, the fear of losing one another when they finally decide to confess ate them both. They didn't want to go through losing one another again.
