2,000 years ago, a demon called Sparda woke up to justice and rebelled against his own kind to protect the human race. With his power, he sealed off the demonic realm from the human world and faded to legend. To enact revenge, demons snuck through and attacked his human family, leaving only his two sons and setting them on their own separate and conflicting paths.

So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.Complete
