Only two things remained infinite in the universe; death, and chaos. The lifespan of a demigod is one that is unbelievably short, but alas- death is inevitable. Lilith Jade died protecting those she loved, and she will continue to live through her loved ones. What happens when one equation is taken out of balance? The light, taken away and left them to succumb to the darkness. There is only one definite result; chaos. There is nothing more dangerous than a lovers' revenge; and there is nothing that is stopping them from getting back their light, even if they were running towards death. Percy Jackson: Gods' Bane (DARK PERCY)
Percy Jackson is not a good person. At least, not anymore. Percy has been through a lot. Annabeth is dead and his few remaining friends are scattered across America. Percy's been loyal and heroic his whole life, he's always done what the gods asked. And they have only ever repaid him with pain and indifference. So now it's his turn. His longing for justice is growing and the more bitter he becomes, the more it sinks in that without Annabeth, he has nothing left to fight for. But then again, there's nothing holding him back. Revenge is something that has long been above Percy. But at the end of the day, at least it's something to fight for. The gods have forgotten that loyalty goes both ways.
