On October 26, 2032 at 7:47 am, the first bomb hit its first target, starting the nuclear exchange that the people of North America would call "The Flash," which ended the old world in just a matter of hours. Now it is the year 2056 and Lake Mead, Arizona has been scarred by conflict after conflict and battle after battle, and scavenger siblings Lukas and Lea are about to be caught in the crossfire of another, with neither of them knowing just how much their lives are about to change.
Disclaimer: This story is not finished and mostly likely won't be for a long bit. I'm planning at least 12 chapters and an epilogue, with each chapter taking up about 20-30 Google Doc pages each. Hopefully I get the time to finish it sometime soon, but mark my words I will finish this!
