Usually when we look at someone we don't know, we tend not to think about what they could possibly be going through and all the thoughts running through their mind. Our brains tend to make judgments based upon what we see; and everyone knows that's not always a good thing. This is a story-a true story-of how judgment became my worst enemy. Mind you, this is not a happy tale. This is a story of a girl in search for happiness. A girl who has yet to discover herself while journeying down an unpleasant road filled with lies and torturous schemes. Don't let the title of this book deceive you and the picture of the smiling, innocent young woman lead you to believe this will be a book about sunshines and rainbows. What you do not see is the immense pain and anger that hides behind the slight grin. The scars from countless fights that are covered by the thin layer of clothes that nobody will ever see. So think again when you look at this book-because on the inside you'll find the story of the little girl on the cover is not what you'd expect.

Together, they will have to deal with mages, fight dragons, and face windigos. Follow them as they learn more about each other, and learn to look past their deferences to accomplish their goals and save the kingdom. Firstly, a huge thanks to my friend Sophia (@sopheyyis or @B1ashe) for drawing the cover. She is an amazing artist, go follow her on instagram and tik toc because she is the best. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. At evening, you gazed at the sunset admiring the golden colors of the sky until they faded into a stary blue and black sky. suddenly, there were kids (your age) peeping out of the grass/bushes in red shirts, it was strange how they were dressed the same color but you didn't care, you gave them a friendly wave until a strange sound that sounded like technology and mechanical moans came from there bodies, they acted pretty odd for kids, suddenly they transformed into hardware robots with a cake shaped body, a dome shaped head that looked like an army tank, and a pipe for a mouth, they grabbed you by the arms one also held your mouth shut and took you into what looked like an Airship?

Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.
