Sometimes, one moment is all it takes to unravel years of carefully buried feelings.

Lloyd Garmadon had long since accepted that some things were better left unsaid. Loving his teammate was one of them. As long as Kai was in his life, Lloyd was content to keep his feelings locked away-even if it meant never telling him the truth.

But after one unexpected morning changes everything, Lloyd finds himself questioning whether his heart ever truly let go.

Meanwhile, fresh from a mutual breakup and struggling to understand what he really wants, Kai begins noticing the person who's been beside him all along.

A slow-burn GreenFlame story set about three months after March of the Oni (season 10).

In this story the events of "Child's Play" never occurred, meaning Lloyd never used the tomorrow's tea. Instead, Lloyd was simply 13 years old in season 1/2 and just had a growth spurt (teenage boys have very unpredictable growth lol). It's 5 years later, making Lloyd 18 and Kai 22. I wanted to arrange the timeline and their ages in a manner that made sense without making it weird or confusing.
Again, this takes place about three months or so after the events of March of the Oni (season 10).
