The Darkest Days [A Wings Of Fire Fanfiction]
Nightfighter is a strange NightWing, he has light blue eyes and most importantly, the powers of the NightWings lost centuries ago. He has both mind reading and prophecy telling. He attends Jade Mountain Academy meeting Moonwatcher, another mind reader. He meets new friends, his winglet. He soon finds out about dark secrets along with his newly found friends. Death follows, with a great danger lurking above them. Will Nightfighter and his friends survive? Or will they die trying? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers. The only characters I own are my characters in this story. Do not use any of my original characters (OC) for any of your uses without my permission. Cover art is by Sahel The Sandwing, all credit goes to her. There is the youtube video of her making this drawing in the prologue. Definitely recommend reading the entire trilogy because plotholes will be explained. (Contains violence) The war has started between the tribes. It is Shardseeker's Hatching Day. He celebrates it, though he didn't think he would. He then flies to a hidden place where the stones are kept. He goes off to find the stone, but he'll need help. Fennec is a timid Sandwing. She is desperate to prove her worth. She goes to find the stone when she isn't an adult yet. There are quite a talonful of cons that Fennec has to go through. Will she be alive and bring the stone back to the cave, or will she be replaced when she dies alone? Siren has been quite sad without Shardseeker by her side. She has always thought that he had died when he left Siren for two years. So she has been in a bad mood for those years. But, when Shardseeker returns to her, she is overjoyed to see him alive, but danger rises when all of the stones are collected. That danger is a threat to all of dragonkind. Will Siren and her team be able to stop the threat before it destroys the world, or will it be too late to do anything? (This story is basically 3 shorter stories that connect sorta.)Complete

But of course that is false, for the egg never hatched. Suddenly, when it passed the moon, a strong gravitational force sent it catapulting forwards, in the direction if Pyyrhia. At the speed it was going, it caught fire, for the friction was very strong. It landed in a desert, and the egg was cracked. The baby dragon had its eyes closed and was engulfed with flames. But a single steak of luck meant that a SandWing, coming back from her visit to the Kingdom, had reached out for the dragonet. And the most peculiar thing about this dragonet? It had no wings.
