When people think of reincarnation, they think of being reborn in another world inside a fantasy setting or a game with powers so broken or incredibly dumb that it will somehow give them a harem.
Well, that was what I thought at first when I was killed in an accident and reincarnated inside a video game.
Not as a character or even a villain, nor a background character for that matter; heck, I don't even have any special powers.
Oh, well, might as well do my best to survive.

It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality.
