*its been 5 years! Brittany and Santana are still together and happy as ever. Layla is even closer with Santana and see's her as a sister/mother figure that helps her out when she needs it most but doesn't feel like she can go to Brittany for. Danny is still working with Brittany but has sadly had to cut her hours back to being part time coz she now has a little boy to take care of on the days that chad has to do longer shifts that go late into the night. Sam is still in the same veterinarian job he's had since he was 18. Which was pretty boring up until recently when sam started chatting up a woman that came in with her cat for a check up since it was only little and still needed its shots and stuff. The 2 of them had instant feeling for one another so they decided to exchange numbers. they have been getting to know each other in the last month or so. Terry and summer still regularity go to Brittany's work place to hang out. summer and Santana have started to have play dates at each others houses but both of them only have sleepovers when in big space coz it is too overwhelming for them otherwise.

Astren City, and all surrounding area, have the highest crime rate in the northern part of the country. Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all. Salem Heart's father, Jack Heart, happens to be the Astren City Chief of Police, a title which holds a lot of weight and a rank that claims even more power. He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law. He was raised by it, and upholding it is his future career aspiration. He thinks he has his life figured out. The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey. Where Did We Go Wrong?
Liliana and Derek were a married couple of 2 wonderful years. Liliana worked as a fashion designer and Derek owned his own book store. One day Liliana and Derek had a serious fight, which ended in Liliana staying the night at her sister's place. Derek called his wife's phone over and over like crazy, with dread, worry, and anger filling his body he went out to a night club with his friends to cool down for a bit. while at the club he stumbles upon a beautiful blonde girl named Vanessa.
