SAMPLE OF BOOK #1 OF THE LOST HORIZON SERIES Hundreds of years ago, the earth experienced a collapse. The surface of the once prosperous planet was reduced to nothing but a desert wasteland. Those few who'd survived the travesty were forced to live in domed cities. In one of these safe havens, Sanctuary as it was named, its people accepted the fact that human life no longer belonged on the Outside World. This simply became a law of reality. However, the entire society is shocked when a human boy is discovered on the other side of Sanctuary's walls. He was named Rex. Possessing no recollection of his past he decides to start life anew. But fragmented images in his mind call for him to leave once more. Rex, along with his adoptive brother, decides to join the Seeker Corps, a group dedicated to surveying the outside in hopes of finding humanity's next home. Survival is key to protecting those who he holds dear and discovering the truth of his mysterious origin. This is a tale of souls seeking to defy a seemingly already decided future. What will they uncover beyond the lost horizon?
