Time seemed to stopped and her words rang in my ears. Flashbacks of us screened through my mind. The jokes we had shared, our undeniably genuine laughter, the days we had spent as friends, and the pained expression of her face when I told her to get out of my life.
Then, like as though time was playing a joke on me, I turned around and saw her -my one and only best friend- slumped on the ground......
