 According to the prophecy, the savior will be forced to make an ultimate sacrifice. The savior comes in the form of a bright-eyed nineteen-year-old girl who has no clue what to do with the weight of the world on her shoulders. 

 Hoping to keep her friends safe, she flees Mystic Falls, enrolling herself in a college on the other side of the country where she meets a starry-eyed Edward Cullen who was instantly drawn to the mysterious girl. Her blood and body sang to him, but he was leery to allow himself to get close to yet another human girl. 

 After having his heart broken seventeen years ago, he isn't ready for the overwhelming emotions the beautiful girl stirs deep within him. Can he control the bloodthirsty beast that threatens to be unleashed in her presence? Can he get a grip on the less familiar human desires that course through him at the mere sight of the beautiful creature?

 Can Lorelei truly save her friends from the darkness that is quickly approaching? Can she manage to keep her feelings for Edward at bay in order to protect him from the lurking threats?
