Twelve young children reside in the thriving forests of medieval Norway. Though each had grown together in the close-knit tribe, they were not as close as some. But one day, through a certain twist of events, their home is brutally attacked- and their family and tribe-mates are either killed or sold off for slavery. The twelve kids are the only ones known to survive- and with these hunters, which they named Fiender, lurking in the forest- they are forced to fight for their lives in the midst of a large, endless forest. But one day, their lives change, when they find out that two of them are offered to a completely new life with their friends.
