[This is mainly being written to see how well this would work for my oc Andretta (nicknamed Andy) given her lore. To give a simple summary she's the biological daughter to Johnathon "Johnny" Blaze, but when she was a child her mother told her she was a mutant when her fire abilities came to light when she was around 7-8 years old. Due to this along with a few others seeing Andy supposedly controlling fire led to the government being called and her getting taken away to New York to the Essex House. She's no longer there and currently in her late 30s adventuring with the Guardians, but this fic will focus on her time in there; basically Andy will be around 11-13 years old here given how this is a timejump back.
