It's the day of Initiation. On that day Squad 13 was introduced to the Partner Killer known as Zero Two, a girl with Klaxosaur blood. However, on this occasion, they were introduced to another person. Someone with a horn, blue-white hair, and dark blue skin.

That person? Code 000 or Zero, the Pistil Killer. A boy who had been rumored to fly his Franxx Saurian on his own, never leaning on everyone. From his looks alone it might seem like a monster, however, he longs for someone to lean off of. He would be forever alone

However, the day they both arrived at Plantation 13, he saw something that intrigued him-a girl, crying alone on a bench in the hills behind the Parasite Boarding House.

Unknown to Zero, however, as soon as he found what he had been searching for. The path was set for him. To reach his Last Song.
