What do you do when truths of the past come back to haunt you?

Sisters Robyn, Madison, and their baby "cousis" (cousin-turned-sister) Javina have all grown into their own lives. Robyn spends her days as a newly single woman, Madison is a top-earning wife and mother of two, and Javina is a jet-setting content creator with thousands of followers, miles, and broken hearts.

But all that glitters ain't gold.

Madison is feeling the pressure of expanding her family with her loving-but-persistent husband, David, Robyn buries the guilt of her divorce with spirits and refuses to date anyone because of it, and when a door smacks her in the face, Javina must face the reality of where being "carefree" has taken her. Rarely on the same page, the sisters prefer their space, but when a web of secrets tying them together is set to unravel, they must coalesce before they're torn apart for good.

Avery Elizabeth Romano had a twin, whom she loved dearly. Yes, you heard it right, had. Her twin was taken away by her mother at the age of 5. Her father was killed on the same day. Her brothers abandoned her on the very same day as well. Sounds tragic, right? There were so many instances that made her want to leave everything behind and run away, to escape the place where she had once called her home. But she stayed, one time after another despite being ignored by everyone in the family. Her so called brothers shunned her away because of what happened that night. Why did she stay? No one could understand. Even at school, she was an outcast as everyone knew her as the girl who was abandoned by her family. She took everything no matter what life threw at her. She clung onto life despite knowing there was no meaning to it. Just because of a promise she made. She did not want to go back on her promise. The once kind and cheerful girl was now replaced with a cold facade, pretending everything was all right when nothing was. It's funny how everyone realise someone's worth only when they are gone. But the sad question was, will anyone even notice Avery's worth when she is gone? A/N: as usual I'm still bad at descriptions but I'm so glad to be back on wattpad writing again! Thalia Anagnos-Loukanis A 14-year-old girl who has not only struggled to fit in at school but with the people that should have loved her; her family. She was the one that brought two families together. People wouldn't say the families hated one another, they would say that they chose to have nothing to do with one another. But Thalia, she was supposed to bring them together, to unite them. But rather, when she was born, it seemed to change the two families. Instead of them aweing and cooing at her, they would have banished her if they got the chance. Growing up, it became 16 against 1. Older sisters are supposed to share their clothes with their younger sisters and prepare them for what was awaiting for them. Older brothers were supposed to protect the younger ones and tease them from time to time. Not tie their baby sister to a chair and force her to eat her dinner that was just mush or make her sleep out on a cold winter's night so that her body would harden. She looked up to her eldest brothers and sisters, hoping that one day she would be loved by them like parents. But nothing changed from the cold glares and door slams in the face. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "All I wanted was to be looked at like their little sister who they loved" "Just another ordinary day of the silent treatment. I don't think they have ever spoken an endearment to my face" "The ratty hair, the ratty clothes. I probably look like I have just woken out of a trash can not a thousand dollar bed" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *TW: some themes and words may be distressing to some* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Started: 3.10.22 Finished: - Rankings: -

"You wrecked me completely, Juliet. You ruined me for any other reality where you don't exist." Juliet Everly A scatterbrained physics student, she sees the world through rose-colored glasses. But there's a twist- she only believes in love as long as it's confined in book pages. She has already started designing her spinster cottage with Noah's ark worth of livestock that she's convinced she's going to need. Miles Cobain-Smith An aloof and detached logician with his head always in a book, he prides in his ability to be self sufficient and not needing anyone. Academic validation, family responsibilities, and drowning in his solitude sum up his life, and he certainly doesn't have time for love. Their paths cross. Clashing is inevitable, but there's something more... underneath the teasing remarks, stupid jokes, and laughter, an undercurrent too perplexing to decipher. When ignoring the spark becomes too much, their lives take a whole different turn. Hopes get crushed and hearts get broken as the unexpected hits like a whirlwind. Soothing ocean breezes, sounds of church bells in sleepy afternoons and two people who are definitely not looking for love- how long until the picture-perfect expectations crumble into a mess of feelings too hard to hold back? All we can say is, it will be something unforgettable. Featured on @romance @storiesundiscovered @YA
