Lyric Jones has been through some tough times in her life since she was only 7 years old. At that age, her father died and she watched her mother marry a man that she barely knew anything about and no matter how many times you told her not to marry him, she did it anyway because she could careless about anybody elses opinion, however, this didn't stop her step-dad Jerome though. Since her mother, Mariah, wasn't "giving it up" like he hoped she would, he decided to go for Lyric since she was still a virgin and pure. And that's just what he liked. Now, Lyric is pregnant, still being abused and raped all because of her step-dad and her mother being blinded by "love". But when she moves to Atlanta to live with her Aunt Pearl and cousins, she starts a new school and develops a heartbreaking crush on a stud named Taylor.
