In his moment of hopelessness, a helpful Cardassian breaks into his program and decides to encourage the success of the doctor with a little game and a friendly bet. Garak plans to use all his mind tricks to help the young doctor succeed. Garak is more in control of Julian's head than even he is and uses it to win a bet and get some feelings off his chest.
