When a group of strangers appear one night on the doorstep of Julian Bashir's cousin something has gone terribly wrong. The façade that all is well has been cast to his the mysterious force that has caused communication darkness thought out the quadrant. Is this a foreshadowing of a war to come, will remain after what appears to be total destruction.

After Garak's many recent intense moments of claustrophobia he is often left alone with different caretakers until his condition improves.
