Iris wasn't always alone. She used to have a great life, with her sister, mother and grandmother. She had a lovely, peaceful life, until it all changed.
Iris was given the opportunity of a lifetime: to take part in the annual tournament. Every year, the government hosted a mysterious set of games. For the winner: Glory and riches for your whole life. For the loser, who knows!
When Iris is entered into the tournament her world is turned upside down. She quickly forms an alliance with a young boy named Blade, and together they work their way through the perilous tasks set before them.
