"Leon..." She spoke softly, looking at him, her gun pointed at the man in front of her. Her eyes turned glossy as she held the gun up, not removing it from the blue shirt it was pointed at.

Leon looked to her, and then the gun, putting his hands up. "Hey, it's okay." He spoke softly. Worried filled his eyes.

Her arms began to shake as she tried to resist. There was a moment where she moved the gun slightly to the side as a bullet field off to the side, missing Leon. She looked to him before she was relieved it missed.

Leon watched her closely as the gun moved away from him and turned on herself.

She looked at the gun as the cold metal was now pressed against the side of her head. The tears started to fall from her face. "I'm sorry." She spoke softly. "I can't.. I can't. " Leon knew what she meant.

Then, the echo of a gunshot rang out through the whole area. Leon couldn't bring himself to look.

My jaw clenched. "Go to hell." He leaned in, close enough that I could smell the whiskey on his breath, mixed with something darker-dangerous. "Ladies first." The tension was suffocating, charged like a wire ready to snap. I refused to back down, tilting my chin up defiantly. "You think you intimidate me?" Leon's fingers brushed against my bare arm-just the slightest graze, barely there. But it was enough. A shiver shot through me, my breath hitching before I could stop it. His eyes flickered with recognition, as if he felt it too, but he masked it with that infuriating smirk. Before I could react, he moved. One second I was standing, the next, my back slammed against the cold wall, a gasp ripping from my throat. He had me caged in, his hands braced on either side of my head, his body pressing just close enough to taunt me without touching. "You're trembling," he noted, his voice low, almost teasing. I forced a scoff, ignoring the wildfire spreading beneath my skin. "You wish." His gaze flickered down to my lips, just for a second, before locking onto my eyes again. "I don't need to wish, Mariella. I already know." My hand shot up, aiming for his smug, infuriating face, but he was faster. He caught my wrist with ease, his grip firm, his smirk deepening. "Tsk, tsk. That's not very ladylike." I narrowed my eyes. "Neither is this." Before he could react, I swung my other hand, slapping him hard across the face. The sound cracked through the hallway like a gunshot. His head snapped to the side, his jaw tightening. When he turned back to me, his expression was unreadable-except for the unmistakable flicker of rage in his eyes.

She knew his identity. He didn't know hers. She just wanted to have him around. He didn't. She knew they could not be together. He didn't. She didn't plan for longer. But he did. What will happen when he comes to know her real identity? Will he be able to stop himself in time from falling or will she have to face his wrath for hiding the truth. __________ "Do you believe in love?" He whispered in her ears making her jump. He was close, no, too close. She could feel his breath and hear her heart beat pounding very fastly. She took a few steps back to get her personal space secured. "You scared me." "Sorry, that was unintentional and I did not know that you are that weak." He smirked at her. "I am not weak.. That..." she saw him taking a step towards her. She gulped and then continued. ".. is a..." Another step. ".. normal.." One more step closer. ".. reaction." Another step. By now, he was again within her personal space. "I think we should go and see if Natey is done with her books." She whispered and laughed nervously and turned back only to be hold and pulled back to a hard chest. He had purposely swirled her along with him, changing their position. His front was dangerously touching her back. "It's a weak who always run away showing back." He whispered in her ears, his breaths touching her neck. His hands were placed just below her breast and touching most of her abs part. ___________________________________________________________________________ This is my first attempt at writing. "Don't cry." I gasped. Leon. He stood a few feet away, watching me with that same intense stare. Those dark monolid eyes. I was terrified of him. And it wasn't because he was riddled with an ink sleeve running up his right arm, lip, ear, eyebrow piercings that glinted against his olive casted skin. Or even the fact that he was very tall and muscular. It was because his eyes were so intense they made my heart skip a beat. Everything about him screamed danger up close, but his presence felt... steady. Secure. My pulse continued to pound loudly in my ears. The way he was looking at me now, It made my skin burn in an entirely new way. He crouched slightly, his dark gaze locking onto mine. And then-so effortlessly, so intimately-his thumb brushed against my cheek, wiping away a stray tear. I flinched. Not from fear. From something else entirely. His touch was fire. "They shouldn't have said those things." His voice was softer now, a quiet rumble that slid over my skin like silk, a slight accent peaking through the vowels. "They don't know how to approach you. You intimidate them." I blinked. "Me?" His lips twitched slightly, as if amused by my confusion. Then-gently, the heat of his palm curled around mine, grounding, consuming, and he helped me to my feet. And then his gaze wandered. Slowly. Deliberately. Down my body. "They don't know how to appreciate a woman's body, so they make jokes." He says. Then- "If I were to have you," he murmured, voice impossibly deep, "I'd worship your body. Make you realize how beautiful you are until it's branded into your mind. Until one day, you'll look in the mirror and see what I see." My breath hitched. We stood there in silence. Then, he turned, walking toward the door, leaving me standing there, breathless, trembling, changed.
