Acute pain is defined as pain that starts suddenly, has a known cause, and is anticipated to go away once the cause of the pain is treated. Tapentadol tablets are used to treat moderate to severe acute pain. Diabetes sufferers with severe neuropathic pain (pain brought on by nerve damage) can be treated with tapentadol extended-release pills like Aspadol 100mg. Only patients who are anticipated to require medicine 24 hours a day to relieve pain that cannot be managed by the use of other painkillers are treated with tapentadol extended-release tablets. The drug tapentadol belongs to the group of drugs known as opiate (narcotic) analgesics. It functions by altering how the nerve system and brain react to pain.
