The Scent of Love

The doors opened again and Corey, my ex-husband, walked out. Ex-husband it felt nice.I said it a handful of times when I woke up this morning and I loved the way it rolled off my tongue.

"You're going to regret this Sofia!"He raved and stormed off with his team of lawyers following behind him. After five years I finally worked up the courage to leave him,after five years of physical, emotional and mental abuse.
He fought me with all his might just not to give me a divorce. After I threatened to speak out about the abuse only then did he give in.
You wouldn't dare , you're nothing without me was what he said after I told him but the next day I reached out to a news agency and of course they wanted dirt on the famous baseball player,only then did he take me seriously.
