When most of the Avengers are taken-leaving Bucky and Clint alone with few clues as to find them-the two remaining Avengers have little choice but to team up with powerful but unpredictable vigilantes and wild-cards to rescue them.

But when Bucky is faced with a choice between his friends and freedom or Marjorie, he is forced to follow a dangerous path and leave everything behind.

Marjorie's capture creates new trauma and reopens old scars. And with samples of her powerful DNA on the market, she-and everyone else-is in danger of a new foe.

HAEIW has played their cards well, and things are even more dangerous for mutants everywhere. The "vaccine" has taken over the world, and mutants are being exposed, neutralized, and eradicated. The Avengers and the X-Men must put aside their differences to protect the people they love.
