Misaki Nii Ito has had it hard, what with being turned into a demon after her parents were killed by one when she's 18, and suffered from overwhelming grief at their deaths. However, unlike most demons, Misaki still retains her human emotions and memories, and she can walk in the sunlight for a few hours. After she's nearly slain by the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, Misaki convinces him she's never once devoured a human, and joins Giyu on his travels and eventually faces trial at the Hashira Headquarters.

There, Misaki is accepted into the Demon Slayer Corps. She teams up with Giyu Tomioka and soon finds herself beginning to fall in love with him.

Will a certain Water Hashira be able to help Misaki learn how to live and love again after all her hardships?

Can anything happen between Misaki and Giyu?
