Even though they were different they were still like sisters. They would walk into each others houses unannounced, have sleepovers every Friday, go on family holidays together and most importantly love each other unconditionally. Sure what Ali said about other people would annoy Dani to no end and how she dated older guys scared her slightly, but nobody is perfect and people have their faults, Dani just hoped that Alison's faults wouldn't be her downfall.
