Grace Phillips was born and raised in a small southern town in South Carolina and wanted to make it big in the music business. When she turned 23, she graduated from college and moved to Los Angeles, California, hoping to succeed with only $100 in her pocket, a small suitcase, her guitar, and the few songs she wrote on paper back home. During her first few weeks in LA, she was able to book a night at the Troubadour bar, which was the place where you wanted to be seen as an artist. And meets people who would change her life for years to come.
