A Sniper in a God Forsaken World
It was cold. Very cold. 'How did I get here?' I pondered over and over. Here I was, surrounded by an endless sea of snow covered trees. All around me, I could see layers among layers of snow. I lay there, staring up into the sky, wondering what had just happened. I had died. Or at least, I thought I died. Synopsis: A 34 year old soldier Simo Shephard dies while in active combat, yet instead of waking up at the pearly gates, he wakes up in a different kind of hell. Read as he survives in a world of animal hybrids known as chimeras, and as he tries his best to aid humanity as they dwindle ever closer to a silent extinction. Will he succeed in making a foothold for humanity? Will he change the tyrannical ways of the world? Or will he fail, leaving the fate of humanity to the chimeras. All contact was lost when the last human army was encircled and destroyed in the arctic, no human contacts have ever been reported since the last army.
