The Viper. Dr. Duncan Drevis. The Crawler. Nightclaw. Powerhouse. And Coldsnap, the Harbinger of Ice. Within the span of just two years, these six superheroes have risen up to defend the country from crime, and protecting the innocent wherever they may be. They have all gained a reputation amongst their communities, and the lawbreakers scatter at the mention of their names. All seems well, but a grave threat looms on the horizon. Malcorchus, the King of the Shimmering Plane, seeking revenge for the deaths of Nic'qura and the Opulent, has concocted a dangerous scheme to unleash the full might of the Shimmering Plane and its forces onto the planet, in a bid for world domination. His ultimate goal is the complete and total assimilation of Earth into the Shimmering Plane, and should he succeed.....it could be the end of existence as we know it.
However, there is hope. The mysterious figure known as Giorgio Carlisle has been hard at work contacting all of the superheroes who have recently risen to prominence, in the hopes of getting them to work together against this new, interdimensional threat. Now, with them being called to action, it's up to them to join forces and fight Malcorchus and his team of returning villains to save the planet.....and perhaps also find out the true reason why the king wishes to destroy everything that humanity holds dear.
