While trying to change, his past life and involvement with gangs and drugs haunt him, but skills honed on the vicious unforgiven streets make him the perfect protector against the numerous gangs, cartels, and warlords who operate throughout the different sections of the island outside of the autonomous zones.
Ronin and his partner uncover a plot of the Northern Island's elite going hunting on the South Island. Their target? Humans.
Rumors of war mongering and pharmaceutical testing on civilians run rampant as a new drug gets released onto the streets called "Boom," that turns users into super human maniacs with a flood of adrenaline and a hallucinatory high, offset by a derranged craving for the drug.
