What does death mean to you?
To Ryuu,The God of Souls, "Death" means nothing. He spends his day collecting broken souls, or fragments. When his quiet and peaceful days get disrupted by the cacophonous souls of a cursed family, to what lengths will he go? As he traverses across the Seven Kingdoms to return the souls, he comes across "Death", who lurks behind the shadows, and an estranged girl, whose voice becomes the "Life" which echoes within him.

Dialogue with Death

5 parts Ongoing Mature

How often do we confront the sobering reality that tomorrow is not guaranteed, that each breath could be our last? What thoughts will flood our consciousness in those final, fleeting moments? Whose faces will flash before our eyes? The inescapable nature of mortality often haunts our sleepless nights, a reminder of our fragile existence. In this narrative, we embark on a journey through the lives of diverse individuals, each offering a unique lens through which we view life's pivotal moments. These characters serve as mirrors, reflecting facets of our own humanity and underscoring the urgency of chasing our dreams, living without the burden of regret, and embracing each day as if it were our last.As we navigate these stories, we are challenged to consider: When we engage in our final dialogue with Death, will we be able to meet its gaze with a serene smile, confident that we have lived a life true to ourselves? This exploration invites readers to contemplate their own mortality not with fear, but as a catalyst for living more fully, more authentically, and with unwavering purpose.
