Like any other kid she has dreams of this being the perfect summer, but when she finds out that she lacks service hours for school and has to get them done before high school rolls around, she is destroyed. She ends up asking her favorite aunt for work at the aunt's cat shelter. Soon though she finds out that her aunt isn't just helping homeless cats. Other things are going on her property, cruel things. Things that Navel is conflicted with. Should she do the right thing or should she protect her favorite aunt from getting in extreme trouble and losing everything?

Obviously I never randomly encountered a horse but I do love horses and I hope to have one soon. I also get bullied very badly. This book is in 1st person and I definitely think you should read it.
