"What in the world?" He looked at me, his face a mixture of horrified and puzzled.
"Well. . ." I tried to explain. "It started with a school project." I tried to smile.
"What kind of project?" He looked utterly confused.
"Well, to be more specific, it started with six venus fly traps."
Penelope planned to impress her professor, and instead of choosing a normal project, she had to choose one involving a venus fly trap. The results were not even close to expected, and now Penelope must fight to survive (and maybe still achieve a good grade).

He says planting a kiss on my stomach, going lower each time. I run my free hand through the back of his hair, gently pulling his head back slightly, forcing him to look back up at me. He had a dangerously evil smile on. I knew my cheeks were going red, I pushed him away and rushed towards the the door. "You always do this." I mumble quietly, trying to catch my breath which I lost in the heat of the moment. "Would you be lying to me if you said you didn't like it?" He replied, walking over to me. UNPLUGGED
High in the clouds above the planet of Venus, thirty students from Venus City Academy class 37 have been unplugged. Since the introduction of the highly addictive virtual reality known as Plugnet, a social crisis has begun to escalate in the planet's cloud-cities. Entire generations of Venusians are growing up and living their whole lives inside of devices called Plugtanks. While inside of these life-supporting tanks, they are constantly connected to the virtual reality leading to a total collapse of real world socialisation and the loss of ability to physically connect to other humans. To tackle this desocialisation crisis, the Venus City has developed a variety of special projects. Class VC37 has been selected for one of these projects. All thirty students in the class are being forcefully unplugged from their tanks, and thrust, anxious, afraid and ill equipped, back into physical reality. Forced to cohabitate with other students and to develop their social, physical and romantic relationships in order to complete the project, the students of VC37 will have to learn to adapt to their new existence and to depend on each other in order to survive the project and potentially earn themselves a ticket to leave Venus and the dopamine grip of Plugnet far behind for good.

Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people in this place. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.Lengkap
