She never wanted to fight with her mother, but was given no choice. The heir to Titania's throne was to be the best warrior any being had ever seen. The war in the galaxy Calete had been at an impasse for 24 years. After all the injustice they had faced, the kingdom planet of Titania was set on winning; or rather, their queen was.
And so it was. Princess Phoenix Flame was starved, beaten, and captured. She was taught to lead an army. She was taught to spill blood. She would live up to her official title: Princess Phoenix Flame of Titania, Marshal of the Royal Army, daughter of Angharad. The heir in the longest reining line of Devils would not fail.
But I suppose failing depends on what task one is talking about.
