Phoenix Flame spent years training under her mother's wing. She was holding a sword before she could talk. By the time she could fly, she had fought her first battle. She never wanted to fight with her mother, but was given no choice. The heir to Titania's throne was to be the best warrior any being had ever seen. The war in the galaxy Calete had been at an impasse for 24 years. After all the injustice they had faced, the kingdom planet of Titania was set on winning; or rather, their queen was. And so it was. Princess Phoenix Flame was starved, beaten, and captured. She was taught to lead an army. She was taught to spill blood. She would live up to her official title: Princess Phoenix Flame of Titania, Marshal of the Royal Army, daughter of Angharad. The heir in the longest reining line of Devils would not fail. But I suppose failing depends on what task one is talking about.

|Book 1 of the Spirit Trilogy| Serena's life is about as normal as it gets - for an Alkanine at least - aside from her, slightly patriotic mother and obvious lack of fighting ability, for a citizen of Yanrie. Its pretty good for her, especially when her sister returns home from the front lines of the Zaross war right before her 15th birthday, the best present she could have. But upon meeting a boy from the neighboring kingdom of Miral she finds that the week leading up to her birthday may be a bit...chaotic, to say the least. (I fixed up the description. Because it sucked and now it doesn't...for now, let me look back on this in...say a month? And it'll suck again) Big thanks to @CateCandora12 for the epic cover!
