When Murtagh comes to heal Nasuada in the Hall of the Soothsayer, Galbatorix learns about his betrayal. Needless to say, he is furious. Murtagh and Nasuada are trapped together and endure as they can, until Eragon comes to the rescue and they are able to defeat the King. They all need to deal with the aftermath in their own way.
