Envy's Parasite

Pathetic like a worm, the 16 year old high school student Haru Hajime lived like a parasite. Even if he didn't want to, he leeches off of the people around him. His life would turn out for the worst as Towers would erect from the ground.

Monsters have started to appear and the world fell into chaos. For most people, they would strive to survive and gain power to adapt to this or rely on other people to protect them. Gods would descend down and grant people their blessing and power to fight against the monsters. Many theories were made: Some people say that the gods came from somewhere greater to save humanity from this disaster, while some others say that the gods were the reason for their misfortune.

Haru, instead, did not go out and fight but felt so helpless and weak in the new Hellscape Earth has become. Closing himself off from the outside world until his house was destroyed by monsters. Then, he would gain a skill that would be a ticket to a normal life in this cold, dark world.
