Trouble is brewing in the MudWing kingdom, Argil has been insecure about his tribe for far too long- and he's finally willing to do what it takes to keep them safe; even if it means destroying all the other tribes to get it.
This agenda has forcefully set many dragons down different paths. Trapped in this net of hardships, an estranged princess, an unusual noble, a NightWing healer and her hybrid husband struggle to flee the conflict. Going across the seas won't save them this time, tension is high between the Pantalan tribes and this band of misfits find themselves being pulled deeper into the dark happenings of the world they live in.
Evil is rising, and each one of these dragons is linked to the other in a complicated tale full of tragedy.
Time is running out, and each soul's fates are being weaved close together.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned for the sequel, Cloudborn, are at the end of the second book along with the planned third book I had planned to write. Feel free to enjoy the unfinished, old story as you please. And please remember that the new upcoming revamp is a side project that will not have my full attention, so it will not be guaranteed completion. However, the storyline is the exact same as the original Iceborn. So you needn't worry about being left in the dark! (Book 1 of the Iceborn Series) Years after the Dragonets of Destiny. Generations after the defeat of Darkstalker. Pyrrhia has been at peace for as long as their queens could remember. But the hatching of a special dragon might change the course of Pyrrhia's peaceful reign. A twin IceWing egg, hatching twin Dragonets. One with too much ice, the other with too little. Blizzard the IceWing is Iceborn. After being accused of murdering another of her kind, Blizzard is forced to flee the Ice Kingdom or be killed. While on the run, Blizzard runs into two very peculiar dragons. Two dragons with strange symbols on their bodies. Two dragons from a faraway land. A land where Blizzard could start over. A land called Magisalla. The Wings of Fire series Belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is merely a fanfiction. NOTE: This story was created before the announcement of the Lost Continent.

'Someone out there could shield her from her fate. Surely someone was out there...' Away from the ever-growing cities and kingdoms that dominate Pyrrhia, Bonecatcher, daughter of a MudWing and NightWing, has lived in only the fewest corners of the world. All her life she, along with a notorious group of gypsies, has maintained to a strict route of where she can and can't go, following the beaten path in an endless quest to avoid society- as is the life of the gypsies, who's reputation proceeds them. Bonecatcher isn't unhappy there; it is all that she knows. She would have peacefully thrown bones and read the futures of strangers for the rest of her very contained life. Yet, as she ages, the threat of marriage looms. Bonecatcher will do whatever it takes to rid herself of the ball-and-chain proposal... and when a chance to attend a school for the unfit and unbecoming presents itself in the form of a customer, Bonecatcher is quick to take it. Yet out of the talons of one boy, she falls into another. A boy which she dreams of, a boy she's seen once, a boy that has haunted her for life... he appears, and throws Bonecatcher in a whirlwind. And all the while, a SkyWing's dangerous discovery - one so prolific that her name will be known forever more - threatens to cleave Pyrrhia in two, creating a destructive chaos that may thwart the dragon world into ruin. ______________________ A story of new beginnings and secret histories, join Bonecatcher as she discovers a part of the world which is yet to be marked on any map. Decades of wars and unrest have clawed at the sides of Pyrrhia's dragons for as long as they can remember, and the tales of true peace and dragonets of prophecy are simply whispers of the past. Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a prescient warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. That coupled with a newfound power in his claws leaves him spiraling and wondering one question: could 𝘩𝘦 be the terror of talons? ✦ Please read the introductory pages! They will be EXTREMELY informative for understanding the basics of Pyrrhia's situation and the timeline leading up to this story. Consider leaving a vote if you enjoy this story! Constructive criticism and other comments are always welcome.
