Dorian Gale is like any other 17-year-old boy living in Topeka, Kansas. His parents love him unconditionally, and his best friend, David, treats him like a brother because he and Dorian have been friends since early childhood. One typical school day, a tornado strikes, whisking him and his dog, Adam, away to the magical land of Odd. Here, Dorian meets Gerald, the Good Warlock of the North, who sends him down the golden brick road to the Emerald Castle to meet the great and powerful Wizard of Odd who Dorian hopes will send him and his dog back home to Kansas. Along the way, he meets the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion who befriend Dorian instantly and promise to protect him from Damian, the Wicked Warlock of the West who is very angry at Dorian for accidentally killing his brother with his falling house and having the magical ruby boots that he wants for himself. Will Dorian and Adam find their way home in time for Dorian's graduation? Find out in this slightly modern take on the classic film!

Gideon has the fight of his life ahead of him if he's to keep the peace and save his friends. In the end, he knows the answer to the mystery of Kit's power lies in the mysterious Beggar's Tomb. Dead people live. Living people die. Swords are described in loving detail, people are not. As always Henry V is here and he is fantastic despite being the primary antagonist. Magic, betrayal, murder attempts, dragons. It's situation normal in 1439. As always, this is historical revisionist fiction. It is book 2 in the 'Days of the Dead' Trilogy. Trigger/Content Warning: some profanity throughout. Mild innuendos. A main character's death is discussed at length. Troubled childhood/abuse is discussed. A character with autism is tortured by memories of being put in restraints. The final chapter contains extremely graphic violence and disturbing imagery that may be upsetting to some readers.Completa

Kit Wren is an inter-dimensional thief, enslaved by some malevolent spirit and force to scrounge through space-time for choice artifacts. His adventures take him across time and the globe, hoping one day to find treasure worthy enough to trade to his cruel master in return for what he wants the most: his voice. His current conquest is a fabled wizard, the now legendary Gideon Saint, of Wales. And Kit may have just met his match. Sequel series to 'Last Knights of Cambria', with some reoccurring characters. Ahem, good people die, bad people live, everyone is inexplicably gay. Robbery. Haunted tombs. Murder. Revenge. Sick burns. Chaos. Drama. What's not to love? Yes, you may learn something about history but that's a risk you're going to have to take. Yes Henry V does show up and yes he's still awesome. Richard the Lionheart is also in this one. This pick-your-problematic-English-monarch-to-simp-for game is getting harder. Trigger/Content Warnings: Some blood and gore. Fantasy violence. Some brief profanity, as well as a couple of homophobic slurs. Slightly more graphic and violent than the Last Knights of Cambia series, though nothing overt. Some mild sensuality, two character kiss. It is discussed characters have kissed. Another two characters embrace in what could be perceived as a romantic manner. The Last Knights of Cambria Book 1: Echoes of Gideon
Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.Completa
